Testimonials
“The theme of Adrienne’s yoga teaching is transformation. Having been transformed herself by the discovery of yoga, she aims to bestow that same gift upon her students. Adrienne’s style is funny and light; however she has deep knowledge in anatomy and alignment, which is apparent in her teaching. She uses humor to help coax her students into correct alignment, teaching a class that is both enjoyable and educational.” –Review from RateYourBurn.com’s article on L.A.’s 30 Best Yoga Teachers
“Adrienne is an incredible yoga teacher. Her classes are gentle yet deep. She talks you through asanas with care and great details. I had the chance to take a few private sessions with Adrienne and it changed my life. I now can do poses I was never able to do before. More than anything, I always feel totally rejuvenated and more grounded after. I highly recommend treating yourself with some individual sessions. It is worth every massage and nights of sleep in the world!” –Emma S.
“Adrienne is such a wonderfully attentive teacher. She not only offers tons of modifications, but she explains them and their relationship to the foundation of each pose. She takes great care to make sure every student is aware of their own limitations and abilities, and that she can nurture the best practice for everyone, regardless of their skill level. Adrienne challenges, just like any other instructor, but her focus on safety and the power of breath is what really inspires me in class. I have never left one of her classes feeling sore or over extended, but I ALWAYS feel refreshed, grounded, and open. She is and will continue to be one of my very favorite instructors in yoga.” –April L.
“For years, I had been pushing myself in exercise and yoga classes and found that I was developing aches and pains because I was straining. Adrienne not only quickly recognized areas that needed adjustment, she showed me ways to modify my poses and correct my alignment. Thanks to Adrienne, I’m not only free of pain, I have a more enjoyable and effective practice!” –Tom W.
“Adrienne is not only thoroughly knowledgeable about yoga, she is a gem. She has taught my husband and me for almost a year. My husband is 86 and has never been athletic. I am 79 and have always been active. Yet Adrienne can put together a practice that works for both of us. She is patient, positive, and has a great sense of humor. She can manage to get my reluctant spouse to do more than he thinks himself capable of doing. I highly recommend her.” –Ileene B.
